I can't really explain it, but I've been observing many unique and awesome bird species all of the sudden. So, yes, now I am officially a birder. I've bought the field guide and all.

Seen this recent afternoon was the quirky Belted Kingfisher, and maybe, a Golden Eagle soaring way up in the sky. And, no, I'm not going to tell you about my secret birding spot.
